Call to Action: Let's bring our mentees to Chicago and Myrtle Beach for the end of year retreat

Lowcountry Youth Services is a youth development and empowerment organization serving our community through mentorship initiatives and workshops. Just last year, we served over 250 youth in the tri-county area.

Each year, members of our Distinguished Gentlemen's Club and Queens' Being mentoring programs work hard throughout the year. They show their commitment by attending our club meetings, participating in community service hours, and showing themselves to be productive members of these organizations. At the end of the club year, we reward the members with the highest percentage of participation with an end-of-the-year retreat.

In previous years, those retreats have included trips to Charlotte, NC; Myrtle Beach, SC; Atlanta, GA; Washington, DC and Orlando, FL. This year, our gentlemen will fly to Chicago, IL, while our young ladies will relax by the beach in Myrtle Beach, SC. We can't make this happen without you, the village.

We are asking some key partners to rally their friends, family, and networks to support our work. By becoming a fundraiser for Lowcountry Youth Services, you will help more young men and women in Charleston, Berkeley, and Dorchester County areas and help your friends feel good about doing good.

Starting a fundraiser is easy to do, and it's fun. We'll even give you all the tools you need to make a difference. With your help, we can ensure that we can bring our kids to Chicago and Myrtle Beach in the end-of-year retreat. This retreat allows our youth to come together, bond, and learn essential life skills they can use to thrive in their communities.
