Join Me in Supporting LYS-A-Thon 2025!
I’m reaching out to ask for your support in making a lasting impact on the lives of young men and women in the Lowcountry! As part of Lowcountry Youth Services (LYS), I am participating in LYS-A-Thon 2025, our annual fundraiser dedicated to giving our youth an unforgettable end-of-year retreat.
What is Lowcountry Youth Services?
Lowcountry Youth Services is a nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering and mentoring young people in the Lowcountry. Through programs like the Distinguished Gentlemen’s Club and Queens’ Being Mentoring programs, LYS provides leadership development, life skills training, and opportunities that help youth reach their full potential.
This year, we are raising $19,136.05 to help cover the remaining cost of our $36,310 trip for 40 kids and 8 mentors to Jacksonville, Florida. Thanks to our amazing supporters, we have already raised $17,173.95—now we need your help to reach the finish line!
This cost covers travel, lodging, meals, and entertainment, ensuring our youth have an enriching and inspiring experience. You can make a big impact by sponsoring a child for $478.40, but any donation, big or small, gets us closer to our goal!
I am competing in the peer-to-peer fundraising challenge, where LYS members like me work to raise the most funds for this incredible cause. The mentee who raises the most will be honored at our Annual Awards Ceremony, but more importantly, every dollar raised provides life-changing opportunities for the young people in our community.
