Support Lowcountry Youth Services in 2025–2026

Across the Lowcountry, young people are searching for guidance, purpose, and support. At Lowcountry Youth Services (LYS), we answer that call, providing transformational mentorship, empowerment programs, and a safe space for over 130 youth to grow annually.

However, the truth is that even as our impact grows, the funding to sustain this vital work is shrinking.

We are in a time when youth-serving organizations like ours are being asked to do more with less. Grant opportunities are more competitive. Operational costs are rising. And yet, the need for mentorship, leadership development, and consistent presence in our youth’s lives has never been more urgent.

What Your Gift Supports:

  • Weekly mentorship for young men and women ages 8–18 through our flagship programs: Distinguished Gentlemen’s Club and Queens’ Being
  • Workshops on mental health, healthy relationships, and leadership
  • College tours, career exploration, and life skills training
  • Tutoring, community service projects, and fun, affirming group outings
  • A team of mentors and staff committed to ensuring that #everychildwins

Over the past year, we’ve facilitated over 28,000 hours of mentor/mentee engagement, coordinated dozens of club meetings and service projects, and built life-changing relationships with youth and their families.

If we want to continue standing in the gap for our youth, we must expand our donor base, strengthen our community partnerships, and secure stable funding. Your support will help us:
